Checked into The Lind Boracay Resort : Luxury Philippines

Boracay Island can only be described as "Asia's hidden gem, the perfect island paradise".  IMG_1624 Last month I was very excited to finally visit one of the world's best island getaways offering fine white powdery beaches, crystal clear water and many believe it to be one of the top 10 beaches in the world.  It's an Asian island that is affordable to eat and drink and has an abundance of activities and nightlife and something to offer for everyone. FullSizeRender (3) Checked into The Lind Boracay Resort: Luxury Philippines The Lind Boracay can only be described as a Boracay's newest and best kept secret. A luxury resort with a combination of coastal indulgence and fresh chic design. It's the new kid on the block in Boracay, as the resort only opened last year and its already set tongues wagging and ready to change the landscape of the Philippine’s luxury resort industry. The resort is located on prime beachfront in one of the most exclusive parts of White Beach’s Station 1, where the sunsets are colourful and known as one of the most photographed sunsets in the world. The resort is positioned on a much quieter stretch of beach amongst the rest of the 5 star luxury resorts & villas. FullSizeRender (1) IMG_1420 How to get to the Lind Boracay Resort: To access Boracay Island was actually easier than I thought. Most people fly directly into Caticlan airport as its the closest airport to access the island. I flew from Singapore to Kalibo airport ,the flight time was only 3 1/2 hours. Once I arrived and collected my luggage I was met by the very welcoming Lind team who ushered me to their private seat in coach. It took 1 hour and 3o minutes by car to get to Caticlan jetty. I enjoyed the drive through the little Filipino villages to get a sneak peak into the local culture and their way of living. There is no lining up and waiting at the public ferry terminal at Caticlan. The Lind resort offers a personalised service with exclusive use of the Lind Arrival and departure lounge. You are met with bottles of water and cool hand towels when you arrive and shortly after you set off on Lind's own private jet boat to transfer to the island. In less than 5 minutes you arrive on the island and within 15 minutes you are being personally greeted by the resort Manager with a welcome drink and cold hand towel. Location Imagine colorful sunsets and powdery white sand, Boracay has a thriving bar and club culture, as well as limitless activities both on land and water. The resort is located walking distance to the centre of the nightlife in station 2. Think a string of lively bars and restaurants all lit up, bean bags, sheesha pipes, lanterns, fire dancers, with a great atmosphere. IMG_1422 IMG_2375 The Rooms I walk into my room and I was impressed by the design and space.  It felt luxurious, modern and coastal with room enough for two people to enjoy comfortably and the pool suites rooms are clearly catered towards couples. There’s a large bathtub fitting two people, a king size bed, a sofa, desk area, and outdoor setting on the private balcony. It's always nice when the hotel surprises you on arrival with a welcome note and freshly made snacks from the chef . I look around at the large comfy king size bed to see a Lind Beach Bag with sunscreen and Lind beach thongs. It's the little extra touches that set Lind apart from other resorts. The resort offers 119 rooms with a selection of rooms from garden view, seaview, beach view , garden with pool and Suites.  Each of the rooms open up to expansive balconies, perfect for taking in the infamous Boracay sunset while sipping on a glass of wine. The Lind Boracay 2016 thelindhotelsboracay_rooms_sea The Experience I was incredibly impressed by the impeccable level of service and I felt right at home. Every one of the staff were warm and welcoming. First stop was to check out the infinity pool located on the roof top. I love a good infinity pool with a view. I must say The Lind delivered on one of the best pools and views around. Imagine yourself floating in around in Boracay's best rooftop Infinity Pool, gazing down on a string of palm trees, powdery white sand and the most crystal clear aqua blue waters that I would say rival the Maldives. The recreation areas are well designed with quirky styled day beds, lounges and pool deck chairs with a difference. The style could be compared to likes of the famous W Luxury styled resorts with Lind's own personal touches. I loved the lemon and lime water jug stations placed around the resort and pools areas for guests to help themselves. IMG_1429 The Lind Boracay Resort is quickly building a name for itself as one of the most uniquely modern & luxurious resorts in Boracay offering the best in tailored guest experiences. You can even hire a range of fun & colourful water inflatables for free. You know I love my floaties, giant swans ..pineapples, unicorns and more..haha! Great for that perfect insta pic! IMG_1427 IMG_3346The Lind really does with that holiday offering the signature luxe lifestyle. Offering the best quality service, pampering and affordable spa treatments, perfect quiet beachfront location, a sense of active relaxation, a variety of delicious cuisines... I absolutely loved the Lind breakfast, offering such a huge selection freshly made juices, mini eggs benedicts, asian stir fries, gourmet yoghurts, fresh fruits and mini bakery ( beware you cannot resist and you may put on some pounds as the food is soo good) IMG_1413 IMG_1412If you are looking for your next Asian island paradise, you cannot go past Boracay Philippines and The Luxury Lind hotel.
